Postdoc (m/f/d) position in pediatric cancer research

The position is open immediately in the Section Experimental Pediatric Oncology (Prof. Beltinger; within the large Research Laboratories of the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine (Head: Prof. Dr. K.M. Debatin).

Your project:
Preclinical investigations of synergy between oncolytic measles virus and an antibody-drug conjugate against acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Your profile:
  • A PhD degree in Biology, Molecular Medicine or related field is required
  • Experience in experimental oncology (assays for proliferation, cell death, clonogenicity and migration), cellular biology (including FACS, quantitative RT-PCR, protein analysis and immunohistochemistry) and mouse tumor models is expected
  • Experience with viral infection and propagation is a plus
  • Ability to interact with technicians and graduate students is helpful
  • Fluency in English is required, German language skills are an asset
